Racing Alpha v1.0: One Winner from Six on a Mixed Tuesday

A Day of Near Misses

Tuesday's racing spread across five courses – Fontwell, Listowel, Beverley, Southwell (AW) and Warwick – offered 36 races in total. From that pool, Racing Alpha's v1.0 model settled on six selections, and the scoreboard makes for honest reading: one winner, five losers, and a net -2.15pt loss.

The sole bright spot was Hot And Cold at Southwell, who obliged at the advised 3.85 and returned +2.85pt. That kept the card from total collapse, but it was the only time the model's ratings clicked. The other five – Londoner, Lady Fortune, Afraj, My Mate Mackley and Fabled Spirit – all failed to find the frame, each costing -1.00pt.

Transparency First

We publish every race the model rates, not just a handful of tips. Some days the algorithm aligns, other days it doesn't. September 22 was clearly one of the latter. The losses were spread across codes – flat and jumps – with no single course or type offering a pattern. Sometimes that's just how variance works.

For the full, always-updated record of every selection, head to the Racing Alpha performance ledger. It's there for a reason: no cherry-picking, no hidden numbers.

Looking Ahead

Today's racing brings a fresh set of puzzles. The model has already crunched the data for the day's cards, and you can find those selections – every race it rates – over at today's page. Whether the v1.0 bounces back or faces another tricky session, we'll report it straight, just as we always do.
