We audited our own ledger. It was too harsh on itself.
An independent code audit found our public ledger was settling non-runners as losses — 18 picks whose horses never ran, docked a point each. Industry rules make those void. The corrected record is −40.1pt, not −51.1pt. Here is every affected pick, the engineering fix, and why we're publishing a bug that made us look worse than we are.

We built a free horse racing API — and an MCP server so AI agents can use it too
Racing Alpha's signals — AI scores, de-overrounded fair prices, value flags, draw-bias stats and our database-frozen tips ledger — are now a free API for developers, plus a native Model Context Protocol server so Claude, Cursor and other AI agents can query UK & Irish racing directly. Here's what it serves, what it deliberately doesn't, and how to connect in under a minute.
Our price freeze caught our own picker. Here's the full audit.
Three days after we built a database freeze around the public ledger, it caught the culprit — our own daily picker, silently refreshing published advised prices through the morning. One pick drifted 6.60 to 11.00 across three re-publishes. Every timestamp, every price, the fix, and what we can't reconstruct.

Ebor Festival 2026: what the data says about York's big four
Eleven days out from York's Ebor Festival (19–22 August): the draw numbers, the each-way terms maths on a 22-runner Ebor, and what recent winners of the big four actually looked like.
We settled 1.2 million each-way place halves. Here's when the terms work for you — and when they're a tax
Each-way terms are rigid; fields aren't. A decade of exchange data says the place half of an EW bet is a 14–22% tax in small fields — and quietly generous in one specific type of race.

Our public card is down £130. We're publishing that anyway — here's the maths.
Six weeks into our public ledger, the v1.0 card sits at −13 points from a £1,000 virtual start. Most tipster sites would quietly delete that widget. We're doing the opposite — publishing the drawdown, the noise maths that explains it, and a binding promise about when (and whether) this ledger ever comes down.

We tested every famous horse racing betting edge. Here's what actually survived.
We spent a week industrially testing every famous racing edge — drift trading, each-way value, lay systems, AI pattern mining — against 13 years of data, with statistics designed to catch lies. We caught eight, several of them our own. Here's the full, uncomfortable scorecard.
What makes Racing Alpha different from other AI horse-racing tipsters
Most AI racing tipsters show you a "featured horse" and a confidence percentage, then hide the formula and the losing weeks. Racing Alpha does the opposite — every rating, every result, win or lose, in public. Here's the difference, and why it matters.

Louie The Legend goes down as v1.3 filters out an entire flat card
Tuesday's lone published tip lost at Warwick, 42 races across six meetings returned no qualifying flat selections, and both settled trebles failed. Here's the honest count.
How Racing Alpha v1.3 went from -13.7% to +8.0% ROI over 5,877 races
We backtested four versions of our horse-racing tipping model against six months of UK & Irish racing — 5,877 races, 4,678 picks. Here's what we learned and why the final version only tips one in four races.
