“I wasn't sure (if I'd held on) but the second horse just gave me a nudge towards the line and with these older sprinters, it has probably helped me more than anything as he'd just got a little bit lonely in front. “Recon Mission has been unlucky in a couple of runs, but the small field suited and he's won here before. He's had a long old season and you can't keep going with these horses, so he won't have too many more races before a break. He'll be back here next year for the Dash - Brian Millen, owner.”
