Lounge Lizard
Four-time chase winner at up to 3m1f; well handicapped on his Huntingdon win for Henry Daly last March but he's struggled since including in two runs for new yard this spring; ran well to a point at Ludlow last time but he was on the retreat when he fell and others preferred.

From the connections
“Lounge Lizard was unfortunate because it absolutely bucketed it last time and he doesn't like that wet ground. I'm not sure if he didn't get a bit bored in the closing stages today. He jumped very nicely today and the plan is Aintree. We got as far as declaring him last year, but unfortunately he went lame 24 hours before because he banged himself. He ran in the Becher last term and ran well, jumped well and enjoyed it, but it was very soft ground and he never got home. We set out our stall to run in the race last year and again this year - Henry Daly, trainer.”
“We'll aim at Lounge Lizard at the Topham. He ran a corker at Cheltenham in January and I don't think Huntingdon suits him all that well. Aintree will suit him better and he loved jumping around there before - Henry Daly, trainer.”
