Dorans Law
Decisive winner of handicap chase at Wexford (25.5f, good) last July off 4lb lower; pulled up both starts since returning from a break, in the Ulster National and over the banks at Punchestown; this more suitable but others arrive in better form.

From the connections
“Dorans Law has been in good form at home. His form on the track hasn't been too bad. I wanted to ride him a bit handier. The standing start didn't suit. I was back further than I wanted to be but he jumped well early and I was able to use that to make up a place or two and sit where I was snug and fill him. He is not the speediest horse in the world but I thought I was getting there plenty soon coming down the hill and I thought it might be too soon. All he seems to do is keep rolling because if I had sat until after I came out of the dip after going with him, I mightn't have picked up again if something came to me, but he jumped the last two very well and I was delighted for the horse - Tiernan Power Roche, jockey.”
“He'd been knocking on the door in maidens and handicaps and this looked a good race for Dorans Law, he stays really well and first-time cheekpieces were a big help - Darragh O'Keeffe, jockey, speaking to Racing TV”
