“The ground at Newmarket jarred Beautiful Diamond up very badly and we've had to take our time with her a little bit and start again. Every bit of the soft ground will have done her a world of good today. She's a classy filly - James Cowley, assistant to Karl Burke.”

“Beautiful Diamond deserved that and clearly didn't see the six out last time. She's all about speed, Clifford just let her roll along and it all came to her. I'm not sure if she'll run again this year, but she's probably done enough for the season and could go away now. She might get six furlongs next year on better ground but we'll probably stay over five. We'll definitely be looking at Group level now - Philip Robinson, owner's racing manager.”
