Trust Amy
Won Chester novice (6f, good to soft) last September on fourth run but came up short in Listed race and two nurseries subsequently; hard to fancy.

From the connections
“We quietly hoped Trust Amy would run well. We initially declared her in the seven-furlong handicap, but she'd have been topweight and on the softer ground we thought that would be a step too far. She's a lovely filly who shows plenty of speed, and we're pleasantly surprised by her. I'm absolutely delighted. Who knows where her ceiling is? It's very exciting for us. I don't think she needed to improve coming into today. Her Haydock run was nice and, although she was last at Chester, it was a better race and on quicker ground. It's nice to get her head in front and hopefully there's more to come - Gary Hanmer, trainer.”
