Pundit corner
Racing Post · third-partyPundit pick: Glowing Account
Glowing Account holds a clear advantage on ratings over the field heading into this stamina-sapping 17-furlong test at Killarney on good ground, sitting narrowly ahead of Samui and considerably clear of the remainder, and that edge combined with the trip should play to the selection's strengths. Samui represents the most obvious threat and must be respected, while Ragmans Corner and Silas Marner are also capable of making the frame if conditions suit, so this is far from a straightforward assignment. On balance, the ratings edge and suitability to the conditions make a reasonable case, and the selection is Glowing Account.
