Tough day for v1.0 as Barak Warrior provides solitary success

A lean return from a busy day

Racing Alpha’s v1.0 AI card covered 36 races across Worcester, Thirsk, Bath, Epsom and Fairyhouse on Wednesday, but the settled selections – six in total – produced only one winner. A net loss of -1.10pt is the honest headline from a day when the model found the target in just one of its rated opportunities.

The sole bright spot came from Barak Warrior at 4.90, landing a tidy +3.90pt. The rest of the card – Iamyouare, Newport, Angel Ang, Letsbeatsepsis and Rosieisme Darling – all failed to oblige, each costing 1pt. None came particularly close, which stings more than a near-miss.

Transparency in the numbers

We publish every selection the model rates, not a single tip, and we’re open about the results. The full public ledger is available at racingalpha.co.uk/performance, so you can track every win, loss and P&L movement. Days like this are part of the process, and being upfront about them is central to what we do.

Forward look

Attention now turns to today’s cards. The model has been refreshed for the Friday action, and you can see the latest ratings at racingalpha.co.uk/today. As always, the v1.0 selections will be posted there, covering every race it deems worthy of a rating. No guarantees, just data-driven analysis.
