v1.0 card takes a hit: both selections beaten on a busy 48-race day
A quiet day for the model, but the numbers tell a bigger story
Thursday's racing across seven tracks – Thirsk, Leopardstown, Killarney, Chepstow, Epsom and Hamilton – produced 48 races. The v1.0 card rated every one of them, but only two made it into the settled column. Both lost.
Final Entry (advised 5.90) was beaten at Leopardstown, and Golden Glance (15.00) couldn't get home at Epsom. That's a -2.00pt hit on the day. Brutal, but honest. The public ledger at racingalpha.co.uk/performance shows every result, warts and all.
Why we publish the full card
We don't sell single tips. The v1.0 card includes every race the model rates – 48 yesterday – and the settled bets are just the ones where the price/rating gap triggers a formal play. Two losers doesn't mean the model was wrong across the board. Many of the unrated races saw horses that appeared in the AI's top three but weren't strong enough to be advised. That's by design: we're about transparency, not padding.
What today brings
Friday's racing looks lively. The model is already crunching the numbers for the next batch of meetings. Head to racingalpha.co.uk/today for the full v1.0 card – every race, every rating, no filter. We'll be back tomorrow with another honest review, good or bad.
No promises, just data. See you on the track.
