“Rich Belief is bred to get the trip and the two runs at sprint distances has helped him gain experience and sharpen him up. The extra furlong has suited him today, he's done it quite nicely, real workmanlike. The pace wasn't very strong, he jumped really well today, he was in the right position turning in and stayed on really strong all the way to the line. He was lugging to his left late on and I had to give him a couple of flicks to straighten him out, but once I did that he went about his business. He's bred to get a bit further and progress with age. He's quite a nice little horse - Robert Winston, jockey.”
