“Over 5f on this sort of ground, Jon Riggens has just been struggling to make up the ground. Something happened the day he reared in the stalls and he got a fright. He had never done it before or since. When you ride them for luck, it is what it says in the tin and that's the way you have to ride him. I'd say if he hit the front a furlong down, he wouldn't finish in the first three. That's just the way he is. The first and second will get a thump in the weights for this but we might like a day out at Irish Champions Weekend with them - Eddie Lynam, trainer.”
