One Look
C&D Group 3 winner last year, but seems most effective at 1m2f, judged on her placed efforts in the Blandford Stakes and the Prix de l'Opéra; stablemate of City Of Memphis who has the advantage of race fitness.

From the connections
“It is great to come here and win at the Curragh again. One Look seems to like it here. She is a lovely filly. Ascot didn't work out for her on ground quicker than she would like and a trip as short as she would want to go. She had ran this sort of distance last year at Gowran and we felt on pedigree that stepping her up would suit her. She was brave today, she didn't have the easiest passage and she won nicely at the death. Today was a sit and see. We have to step up now and look at better races. She is in the Nassau, she will be in the races on Arc weekend, she can run in the Blandford Stakes too. We will have a think and pick our spots but she will probably run more than she has in the past. We are lucky to have a good bunch of horses and have great owners - Paddy Twomey, trainer.”
“She's tough and I think a mile is the minimum for now. Ten furlongs will be well within her compass. One Look will have an entry in the Lanwades Stakes. She's a Group winner now and we'll try and go as far up the ladder as we can. The ability was never in question it was just last spring she wasn't ready to do what the world expected her to do. She'll probably prove yet that she is that kind of filly - Paddy Twomey, trainer”
“One Look did what we hoped she would do and it went to plan. I'm thrilled with the way she did it. That's her first piece of work this year. If she goes to Newmarket, she will probably go straight there - Paddy Twomey, trainer”
“One Look is a nice filly. I thought I would get her out earlier in the year, but it was just the way things worked out. She was just ready to run this week. I thought she was good enough to be competitive. The plan was to track Frankie (Dettori) on Cherry Blossom and see how we got on. I gave her a Guineas entry this week. It was a big performance to do that and I think that will be it for the year - Paddy Twomey, trainer.”
