Pink Oxalis
Four wins last year, including over 1m at this track on soft in April; career-best when landing a very competitive fillies' handicap at Leopardstown last September; not in the same form on first two starts this year; slowly away over 7f here last time, staying-on third was a decent effort in the circumstances.

From the connections
“We were delighted to see Pink Oxalis run well on the slow ground back in April. She is ground versatile. She wasn't right the last day in Leopardstown. The ground got very testing and where she was drawn, nothing was coming from her position. Jack gave her a lovely ride and she travelled very smoothly. I am delighted to see her back to form. The owners are here today, which is great. We will see what is coming in the programme. We were thinking about Galway. I think the small fields suit her and we will see how she is next week. We might look at another fillies' handicap back here and we will hunt for a bit of black type later in the season, she is capable of that. The horses have been running well. It has been a quiet month but we only have 20 horses in and we are focused on a bit of quality - Stephen Thorne, trainer.”
“Pink Oxalis was very impressive. I wasn't too sure beforehand on the ground but she won well over a mile the last day at Dundalk and she's been bouncing at home. She turned a corner and has gotten stronger. Her work had been very good although I wasn't expecting that, she enjoyed the soft ground - Jack Kearney, jockey.”
