20:02 Bellewstown

Baltic Bird heads this eleven-runner field at Bellewstown on good-to-soft ground over an extended two and a quarter miles, rated seven pounds clear of Jerandme and a clear margin above the chasing pack, and that superiority in the assessments reflects what looks a genuinely strong case for a bold showing over this stamina-testing trip. Jerandme is the most credible threat at a rating of 81 and will need to be watched, while Sequoiaspirit and Boxing Great, both rated 77, could make life interesting if the ground plays to their strengths. Nevertheless, the weight of the evidence points firmly in one direction, and Baltic Bird is the selection.
