“Quai De Bethune found the ground a little bit fast maybe and he wasn't going early; Rossa and I were both struggling, but we were able to save a little bit of ground on the turn and Rossa cleverly managed to keep me in a little bit in the straight, which delayed my challenge, and I wasn't sure I had won, but he's a Persian King, slow to mature, and he's getting to a nice level now. It was always going to be a rough race - a mile and a quarter, big field, you know what they're like - Oisin Murphy, jockey.”
