Gavoo
Two wins last season were over 6f; well beaten at Galway on his only attempt at 7f; kept on for fourth place over 6f at Naas on seasonal debut (Nakamura, seventh); worth another shot at the extra furlong on that evidence.

From the connections
“Gavoo had the form. I was confident today. I didn't miss the break at the Curragh too bad last time, he was just a bit raw and babyish and to be honest we didn't give him a hard time of it. I followed Colin [Keane, rider of the runner-up] the whole way around today and he's a lovely relaxed horse. I would probably like to travel a bit better, I probably looked in a bit of trouble but I knew I had Colin covered and I got it done easy. He is a nice horse for down the line - Luke McAteer, jockey.”
