“Carolus Magnus has done really well because he had a pretty serious injury as a two-year-old. He looked like one of our earlier two-year-olds, but very unusually split both front pasterns. All credit to him as he's done very well to come back. We won this race a few years ago with a horse called Balducci and he's a very similar horse to him. He ended up in the Britannia and Silver Bowl at Haydock and we could consider similar races - Andrew Balding, trainer.”
