Applesandpears
Raced clear in 7f and 6f events on the AW last autumn but she was slightly hampered and done with from a fair way out on her handicap debut at Haydock (1m, good); should come on for the run, though, and no surprise if she shows to better advantage in a less competitive race.

From the connections
“I was fortunate I was able to recover [from a tardy start] and get Applesandpears into a nice position. There was a lot of horses I didn't want to be stuck behind and I ended up where I wanted to be. She took a little bit of stoking up but once I turned in she started to find her best foot forward and, although she wandered around in front, she finished the race off well. She's a filly with more to come - Hector Crouch, jockey, speaking to Racing TV.”
